Taiwan Index Plus to Launch “IR Engage Platform” on November 1st for Trial Operation, Offering Investor Conference Services, Engagement Facilitation, and ESG Value-Added Information.

To support the Financial Supervisory Commission's initiative to establish Asia’s asset management center and Taiwan Stock Exchange’s mission to enhance the value of Taiwan’s capital markets, Taiwan Index Plus (TIP) has built the "IR Engage Platform." This platform offers three main services: "Investor Conference Services," "ESG Value-Added Information," and "Engagement Facilitation" for publicly listed companies and institutional investors. Aimed at increasing corporate visibility, encouraging communication, enhancing investor relations, and promoting sustainable development, the "IR Engage Platform" will be available for trial on November 1st. With experience in developing ESG databases and information services, Taiwan Index Plus has built the "IR Engage Platform" in phases. On November 1st, the platform’s initial trial operation will provide basic functionalities for “Investor Conference Services,” “ESG Value-Added Information,” and “Engagement Facilitation,” allowing public companies and institutional investors to register. Expansion to cover additional companies is anticipated by January 2025, and ongoing user feedback will help guide future platform enhancements.
The “IR Engage Platform” mainly includes “Investor Conference Services,” “ESG Value-Added Information,” and “Engagement Facilitation” as its core offerings.
- Investor Conference Services includes "Venue Reservation" and "Investor Conference Calendar." Venue Reservation integrates resources from the Taiwan Stock Exchange Group and brokerage firms to provide multiple conference rooms for publicly listed companies to conduct their own investor conferences, helping to reduce the IR workload and increase the frequency of investor events, thereby boosting visibility and strengthening investor relations. The Investor Conference Calendar offers an easy-to-use interface displaying bilingual (Chinese and English) presentations, event times, locations, and multimedia links for public companies’ investor conferences, accessible across multiple devices such as desktop and mobile.
- ESG Value-Added Information provides a multi-layered ESG database based on Taiwan Index Plus’s “Taiwan Sustainability Index” SEED model (Social-S, Economic-E, Environmental-E, Disclosure-D), focusing on ESG engagement topics for institutional investors and public companies. This ESG information helps facilitate productive engagement.
- Engagement Facilitation Services use digital methods to facilitate engagement meetings between institutional investors and public companies, increasing mutual communication opportunities. Registered members can initiate engagement meeting invitations, communicate via the platform’s messaging functions, and track engagement records to improve engagement effectiveness.
Taiwan Index Plus hopes the “IR Engage Platform” will become the go-to choice for publicly listed companies, especially small and medium-sized ones, to conduct investor conferences independently. This will help companies enhance their visibility, showcase value, and attract investments while encouraging communication, engagement, and sustainable development among public companies and investors. These efforts support the goal of establishing an asset management center in Asia, enhancing capital market value, and boosting competitiveness for Taiwan Stock Exchange Group.
