Report Year/Rating Year:
2023 / 2024
Basis of Data Estimation on This Webpage:

1. Price-to-Earnings Ratio (P/E Ratio) = Closing Price / Earnings per Share (EPS). The EPS is calculated as the company's reference net profit after tax / number of issued shares. If the EPS is 0 or negative, the P/E ratio is not calculated. The net profit data is based on the latest four quarters of financial reports that have been officially reported in the Market Observation Post System (MOPS). According to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), if a newly established company is not founded on January 1st, its annual consolidated financial report is compiled from the establishment date and does not retroactively cover the entire year. When calculating the P/E ratio for such companies, the reported financial data is still used. For example, Hua Nan Financial Holdings (5880) was established on December 1, 2011. During its initial listing period, the P/E ratio was calculated based on its net profit after tax from its establishment date to the end of 2011.

2. Dividend Yield = Dividend per Share / Closing Price × 100%. The dividend per share includes the company's latest announced cash dividends (NTD/share) from profit distribution + cash dividends from statutory surplus reserve and capital reserve (NTD/share) + stock dividends from profit capitalization (NTD/share).

3. Price-to-Book Ratio (P/B Ratio) = Closing Price / Net Asset Value per Share. The net asset value per share is based on the most recent quarterly data announced on the Market Observation Post System. Before mid-May 2013, the estimation was based on the most recent quarterly net value divided by the post-dividend adjusted share count.

4. Stock Names with an asterisk (*) indicate that the nominal value per share is not NTD 10. The P/E ratio, dividend yield, and P/B ratio are adjusted accordingly once the face value of the stock is changed and reissued.
